Fastest ISP Google Fiber
Google Fiber is great, if you can get it. The service is only available in parts of eight cities, but where it's available, it offers up to a gigabit of pure fiber-to-the-home service in its "fiberhoods." Google has had a nationwide effect of getting larger providers to step up competition, though.

Fastest Mobile Network Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless is America's LTE network king. An excellent nationwide buildout, broad swathes of 1700Mhz "XLTE" spectrum, and broad support for that spectrum across its phones meant that Verizon won more of our tested metro areas than any other.
