Videotron is Quebec's top Internet, cable television, telephony and wireless communications provider. With a tighter grip on the market, they rolled out a hybrid fibre network with different speed tiers up to 200Mbps. Gigabit 1Gbps connections are now being tested in Montreal-area homes with a wider expansion using DOCSIS 3.1 technology expected in 2016.
