Ookla® Linking Policy
Ookla, LLC, and its subsidiaries and brands (“Ookla”, “we” or “our”) support the usage of cross-linking on the Web. We encourage our own sites and other sites on the Web, to link and summarize content that adds value for their users.
We follow certain guidelines when linking to others, and expect the same consideration from third parties who wish to link to our content. The principles embodied in these guidelines include proper attribution, respect for copyrights and trademarks, and permission for commercial use.
We want to work with you! If you have any questions about this policy, please ask.
Links
You are welcome to link from another site to Ookla content – however do not use any Ookla logos, trademarks, quotes, excerpts, summaries of published articles and reviews or trade names such as Ookla, Speedtest, Mosaik or Downdetector on any website, advertising, press release or other commercial promotions, except to refer to the linked content. You may also use inline links. Use the title of the article as the link, and we strongly encourage citation of the source site. (Our logos may accompany a citation, but their use requires our written permission).
Please do not:
- Attribute a link on your site to an Ookla site and then link somewhere else;
- Write and link to a summary of the Ookla story which exceeds fair use guidelines;
- Frame the Ookla story or otherwise present the content as your own;
- Use any images from Ookla stories on your site without written permission;
- Use any of our logos or trademarks without written permission; and
- Use any content, excerpts or quotes in any website that promotes a product or advertisement or promotions without permission.
Reproducing Our Content

- Use of Ookla content in advertisements, campaigns, press releases or promotions;
